Geta sandals are traditionally worn with heels sticking out a bit.
Geta sandals are wooden sandals. Geta looks like a hybrid of flip-flops and clogs. Cloth v-shaped thong called 'hanao' is knotted at the bottom in a special way. Geta sandals are traditionally worn with summer cotton kimono called yukata or jinbei.
Traditional style had 2 wooden teeth at the bottom which made it harder to balance and walk in.
Our modern style geta sandals are made of very light weight kiri wood, just as the traditional ones, but instead of teeth, they have heels. Bottom has rubber much like shoes.
We carry rectangular shapes and rounded shapes with various hanao thong.
Modern geta goes well with Western fashion as well.
