Geta sandals are traditionally worn with heels sticking out a bit.
Geta sandals, traditionally worn with summer cotton kimono, are a combination of flip-flops and clogs, with a cloth v-shaped thong called 'hanao' tied in a unique way for support. While traditional styles have two wooden teeth for the bottom, our modern version is made with lightweight kiri wood and heels instead. The bottom is also lined with rubber, similar to shoes. We offer both rectangular and rounded shapes with various hanao thong designs. These modern geta sandals are not only perfect for traditional wear, but also for pairing with Western fashion.
